The body was found Tuesday afternoon. It had no ID on it.

An elderly woman’s body was found in the water off an Alameda beach this afternoon, East Bay Regional Park District officials said.
A visitor to Robert C. Crown Memorial Beach noticed the woman’s body floating in the water at about 12:30 p.m. and called police, according to the park district.
Alameda police and firefighters responded to the area of Shoreline Drive and Willow Street, pulled the woman’s body from the water and contacted the park district, which has jurisdiction over the beach, park district police Lt. Alan Love said.
