Woman's Stolen Vehicle With Dog Inside Recovered
The vehicle was stolen in Alameda Tuesday and found in a neighboring city. "Boots" is OK and reunited with his owner.

ALAMEDA, CA — A beloved pup, Boots, was reunited with his owner on Tuesday after the vehicle he was in was stolen. An Alameda Police officer found the vehicle abandoned in another city with Boots still safe inside.
According to a police, the woman "was standing a few feet away with her back turned to her car" at the intersection of Eagle Avenue and Everett Street when it was stolen. She told police that Boots was in the vehicle, and gave them a detailed description of the vehicle.
Information about the theft was broadcast to officers, and "an APD officer, returning from Santa Rita Jail, found the vehicle unattended in a neighboring city."
