Albany Baseball Heads to North Coast Playoffs

The loss in the league playoffs didn't hurt the Cougars.

The baseball team lost its first round game in the Bay Shore Athletic League playoffs, falling to St. Joseph/Notre Dame 7-3.

Albany pitcher Ryan Masterson pitched into the fifth inning, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out 11 Pilots.

Despite the loss, the Cougars (18-6) received the fifth-seed in the Division III North Coast Playoffs, which start this week.
