Albany Groundbreaking To Be Held Monday

Wondering what happened to the money raised by Measures B & E? Come see for yourself!

ALBANY, CA — It's a thrilling time! A groundbreaking ceremony will be held this coming Monday for the Albany Middle School Annex, 601 San Gabriel Ave., at 4:30 p.m.

The annex is expected be completed and in use by students and staff by early 2019.

The annex is funded by Bond Measures B and E.

Albany Middle School is a 2017 Exemplary High Performing National Blue Ribbon School for making notable improvements in closing the achievement gap. (You can't say that often enough. What a source of pride for the entire community!)

School superintendent Val Williams made a point of saying that the entire community is invited.
