The City of Albany invites you to join us for our annual 4th of July in the Park celebration on Friday, July 4th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Memorial Park (1325 Portland Avenue).
This free, family-friendly event offers a day of live entertainment, delicious food, engaging activities for all ages, and an opportunity to connect with your community. Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the area, come enjoy the festivities, meet your neighbors, and celebrate Independence Day with us.

Rock Wall
Climb to new heights at our Rock Wall, designed for adventurers of all ages and abilities! With a minimum weight of 45lbs and a maximum of 250lbs, this exciting challenge is perfect for everyone. Test your strength, agility, and climb to the top for a thrilling sense of accomplishment at our 4th of July event.
APAL Imagination Playground Blocks
Unleash your creativity at the Imagination Playground Block Area, where oversized, colorful foam blocks invite builders of all ages to construct, design, and explore. Thanks to a generous donation from the Albany Police Activities League, this interactive play zone offers a hands-on experience for everyone. Whether you're stacking towers, building forts, or crafting imaginative structures, the possibilities are endless. This engaging activity promotes teamwork, problem-solving, and endless fun for families and friends at our 4th of July celebration.
The Big Bubble People
This interactive station will captivate guests of all ages with stunning, giant bubbles and hands-on bubble-making fun. Watch in awe as professional bubble artists create colossal, shimmering bubbles that seem to defy gravity, float gracefully in the air, and burst into a shower of sparkling drops.
Spin it to Win it!
Stop by for your chance to spin the wheel and score fun prizes, sweet treats, and patriotic surprises. Whether you're feeling lucky or just love free stuff, you won't want to miss it.
