CHP: Big-Rig Crash Blocked I-80 to I-580 Connector
According to the CHP, debris spilled off of a big-rig and was blocking the connector ramp.
ALBANY, CA- The California Highway Patrol this morning reported a crash on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 to westbound Interstate Highway 580 involving a big-rig in Albany. Debris spilled off of the big-rig and was blocking the connector ramp, closing the road, according to CHP. A Sig-alert was issued due to the crash.
According to CHP officials, the crash was expected to be cleared up by about 6 a.m. once the debris was cleared. The incident was first reported at 3:52 a.m.
