SANTA CLARA, CA — All eyes will be on Santa Clara soon as the World Cup and Team USA take center stage.
"Team USA is coming to the San Francisco Bay Area on July 1 for the Round of 32!" San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie said on X. "Our city has been alive with energy for the World Cup, and we’re just getting started. Let’s go, USA. Let’s go, San Francisco!!"
According to KRON4 News, the United States secured first place in Group D at the FIFA World Cup; the U.S. had a 2-0 win over Australia Friday and later secured Group D after Paraguay defeated Turkey 1-0 early Saturday, the outlet reported.
