Albany Middle School Fall Festival Brings Carnival Games, Walk-a-thon and a Fabulous Silent Auction

Join together with family, friends and your local community for a day of Food, Fun & Entertainment while raising money for a great cause.

Albany Middle School is holding its annual AMS Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is open to the community and will include carnival games, food booths, walk-a-thon and a fabulous silent auction.  Proceeds from the event will be used for educational field trips and the AMS PTA’s programs and services that benefit all the children at the school.

Here are just some of the Silent Auction items available for bidding:

* A Private plane tour for three above SF Bay

* A Three-night stay in a five-bedroom Lake Tahoe cabin that sleeps 12

* A Round of golf for two at Little River Inn Resort & Spa and Las Positas golf courses

* A Private dragon boat cruise for a group of 15-21 along the Berkeley, Albany & Emeryville marinas

* A Private wine tour and tasting for 30 guests

* Movie, museum and theater tickets, including 2 Premier SF Symphony orchestra tickets to hear MTT play Schubert in November

* A Full size Jay Haide violin  

* A Bowling Party for 10 people

* A loaf of Semifreddi's bread each week for a year

* Gift certificates to local restaurants

* Oakland A's field level seats PLUS a field visit to watch batting practice from down on the field

The silent auction will take place in the school atrium, off of the courtyard.   Parties interested in bidding on any of the silent auction items need to register for a free bidder number by 12:30 p.m. The auction closes at 1:00 p.m.
