Introduction to Guitar
Teen ages 10-15
In this course designed for beginning guitar students, participants will learn the fundamentals needed to begin playing the guitar. Topics covered in class are tuning the guitar, basic chords used in 100’s of popular songs, major/minor/blues scales, and song form. Taught by professional guitarist and super chill dude Jordan Samuels.
Students should bring their own guitar.
Instructor Bio: Jordan Samuels picked up a guitar when he was nine years old and hasn’t put it down since. He has been performing and teaching regularly throughout the bay area for the last five years, recently completed his undergraduate studies in Music Composition, and has studied with acclaimed guitarists Bruce Forman, Randy Vincent, and Jim Witzel.
