El Cerrito's Hillside Natural Area
Broom removal has opened up a new loop exploring the amazing grasslands, oak forest, and creeklets of El Cerrito's Hillside Natural Area. See how El Cerrito "Green Teams" are working to preserve and restore nature. Meet at the service road gate just west of the El Cerrito Recycling Center. Some trails are narrow and/or steep. Wear hiking shoes; bring water and sticks if you use them.
