Discover plants used by Native Americans, some edible weeds, and a delicious source of pies and jam on Friends of Five Creeks' annual "Gatherers' Walk" on Cerrito Creek. This is an easy, leisurely walk, but with some steep banks and a creek crossing on stepping stones. Wear closed-toed shoes with good traction; bring a container. Event is free, but numbers are limited and reservations required -- email f5creeks@aol.com or call 510 848 9358.
