Guest Column: Albany Arts & Green Festival Call for Green Exhibitors, Artists
The annual festival, on May 1, celebrates Albany's commitment to the arts and the environment.
Albany is developing a reputation for having a vigorous public arts program and being one of the greenest cities in the country. So it's not surprising that we are celebrating "arts and green" together! Art helps see and appreciate beauty, and protecting the environment helps create a beautiful world!

You'll find local bands (many from the Albany schools), art activities for kids, poetry, delicious food from local vendors and information from community fundraising groups. Artists will display and sell their works in booths in the park.

A range of vendors will share information about activities with local environmental and green action groups, workshops you can join, and all the things you can do to make Albany .

There will be bike valet parking and low-cost bike tune-ups sponsored by.
