Police Seize Stolen Gun, Arrest Two Men in Berkeley
BREAKING: The two suspects are from Berkeley and Oakland.

BERKELEY, CA — Two men were arrested in Berkeley Monday morning after a traffic stop revealed that the driver had an outstanding warrant and a passenger was carrying a concealed handgun, according to police.
At about 10:30 a.m. police pulled over a car in the 1800 block of University Avenue that was being driven by DeAndre Bess, 20, and carrying Timothy George, 18, along with a female passenger described only as the car
owner's daughter.
The officer who pulled the car over discovered that Bess, an Oakland resident, was driving on a suspended license and had an outstanding warrant for domestic violence, according to police.

The officer also noticed that George, of Berkeley, was trying to hide a handgun in his shirt, police said.
The officer ordered George Jr. out of the car for a search and found the loaded weapon, which had been reported stolen from an auto burglary in Vallejo, according to police.

Both men were arrested and the female passenger was released.
