Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Albany
The Monday morning crash snarled traffic on I-80 during the morning commute and into the afternoon.
ALBANY, CA — A pedestrian was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Albany early Monday morning, snarling eastbound traffic for about 8 hours.
The highway was closed for the investigation, forcing drivers to take alternate routes.
The victim's identity has not yet been released.
