Volunteer Opportunity in the Fight Against Cancer

Relay for Life of Albany is right around the corner and we could use your help pulling it off!

At Relay For Life of Albany teams take turns walking or running around a “track” in the Albany High School Gym to raise funds for the fight against cancer.

The event is 12 hours long (although you may be familiar with others which are longer), and because cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have at least one participant on the track at all times.

The event is an opportunity for communities to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has already taken too much. Relay volunteers help with registration, logistics, set up and take down, participant support, asking for donation, and other unique opportunities.
