Pizza Guys’ Next Generation of Ownership Arrives in Anaheim with New Restaurant 

Pizza Guys, the Sacramento-based pizza franchise known for its fresh, high-quality ingredients and bold flavors, is continuing its expansion across Orange County with a new restaurant opened at 2975 W Ball Rd in Anaheim, CA on June 18. Owned and operated by local entrepreneur Kevin Horbakht, the location marks a new chapter for a family whose connection to Pizza Guys spans more than two decades.

For Kevin, restaurant ownership has been years in the making. His father, Hooman Horbakht, began working with Pizza Guys more than 20 years ago as a delivery driver, before eventually becoming a franchisee and opening locations in Westminster and Laguna Woods. Growing up in the family business, Kevin started helping in the restaurant at just six years old and has since worked nearly every position possible, doing everything from cleaning to pizza making. Now, shortly after turning 21, he is opening a location of his own after years of working alongside his father and gaining firsthand experience in every aspect of the operations. 

“I grew up in Pizza Guys and learned every part of the business from the ground up,” said Kevin. “Opening my own location is something I’ve worked toward for years. I want to create a place known for exceptional customer service and quality, where every item coming out of the kitchen meets the highest standards.”

Throughout his experience opening and operating restaurants with his father, Kevin developed a management philosophy centered around consistency and long-term thinking. Among the biggest lessons he carries forward are focusing on growth opportunities over short-term wins and approaching each day with the same level of commitment and execution. While focused on making the Anaheim location successful, Kevin sees this opening as the beginning of a larger vision to continue expanding Pizza Guys throughout Orange County in the years ahead.
