Locals can explore everything from Cajun and Thai to grilled cheese and craft beer, all in a restored landmark that's become a major community gathering spot.
   

• 5 arrested in Anaheim drug bust targeting illegal pills sold at indoor swap meet (abc7.com) — Anaheim police arrested five people after a lengthy investigation into illegal Xanax-style pills allegedly sold at the Anaheim Marketplace indoor swap meet, including to minors. Officers seized bottles of Farmapram and are still testing whether the pills contained other dangerous substances, while prosecutors consider charges that could impact vendors and public safety in the community.
   

• Mariners break game open, avert sweep by Angels (statenews.net) — Baseball fans in Anaheim saw the Mariners spoil the Angels' series with a 7–2 win at Angel Stadium, despite a four-hit night from Denzer Guzman. Seattle broke the game open with a three-run fifth inning and added insurance in the sixth, stranding 14 Angels runners and avoiding a sweep in Wednesday night's matchup.
