Citizens Interested In Infrastructure, Capital Improvements In Beaumont Asked To Join 'Blue Ribbon Committee'

The city is looking for residents from different neighborhoods across town.

BEAUMONT, CA—Are you interested in infrastructure and capital improvements in Beaumont? Join the City of Beaumont’s Capital Improvement Blue Ribbon Committee!

On Tuesday, Sept. 19, the Beaumont City Council approved the creation of a Blue Ribbon Committee to provide citizen input for creation of a comprehensive, multi-year plan to complete large scale capital improvements, such as streets, parks, utilities, and public facilities. The committee will consist of approximately 20 members that will provide full representation for all parts of the City.

Ideally the committee will consist of multiple members from each geographical area of Beaumont in addition to singe members from various existing City committees. Due to possible CIP implications on Community Facility Districts (CFD) future facilities, the ad-hoc Blue Ribbon Committee is needed to provide recommendations to the City Council by December 2017.
