Fire Alongside I-10 in Calimesa Causes Traffic Delays

Calimesa, CA – A small vegetation fire next to Interstate 10 in the Yucaipa/Calimesa area was causing traffic delays Friday evening.

The brush fire was reported around 4:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway, at County Line Road, according to California Highway Patrol logs.

The blaze appeared to be burning in a small patch of trees just south of the roadway.

Traffic was reportedly backed up for a couple miles as a result, witnesses report..
