Former Beaumont Mayor Placed On Administrative Leave At School District
Officials confirm that Brian De Forge has been placed on leave.

BEAUMONT, CA – A former Beaumont mayor and the current Director of Maintenance & Operations at Beaumont Unified School District has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation by the district, Patch has learned.
Brian De Forge has been with the school district since October 2013 and served on the Beaumont City Council from 1999 to 2014.
The circumstances surrounding the investigation weren't made public, but police officials tell Patch that they are not currently investigating De Forge.

Three other employees have also been placed on leave in connection to the investigation, officials say.
Patch has reached out to De Forge for comment and will provide updates as they become available.

The Beaumont Unified School District provided the following statement in regards to the incident:
As part of an ongoing investigation to an employee complaint, four Beaumont Unified School District employees have been placed on administrative leave while the District continues to conduct a thorough investigation.
Due to the sensitivity of the investigation and Federal employee privacy laws, the District cannot comment beyond this statement.
Upon completion of the District’s investigation, the report will be forwarded to the Beaumont Police Department for any potential violations of the law.
