Man, Girlfriend Dead In Murder-Suicide: RivCo Sheriff

Deputies said the two bodies discovered in San Jacinto were "isolated (act) of domestic violence."

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – A domestic dispute between a San Jacinto man and his girlfriend culminated in a murder-suicide, authorities said today.

Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Ray Huskey said deputies were sent to a residence on Santa Fe Avenue, near Esplanade Avenue, about 9 p.m. Monday to investigate reports of an assault and discovered the bodies of the man and woman, neither of whom were immediately identified.

The initial call was for an assault with a deadly weapon.

Huskey said both had been fatally shot in an "isolated (act) of domestic violence."

He did not specify which person was in possession of the gun.
