Woman Cleaning Up Broken Bottles Struck, Killed By Vehicle
The early morning incident was reported at an intersection at Temecula Parkway.

TEMECULA, CA – A 57-year-old woman who was sweeping up broken bottles in a Temecula intersection was struck and killed by a car Tuesday, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 1:06 a.m. in the area of Temecula Parkway and Butterfield Stage Road, according to Tawny Cabral of the Riverside County Fire Department.
The woman died at the scene, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported. Her name was withheld, pending family notification.

"A female pedestrian had been sweeping up broken bottles in the intersection and was struck by a sedan traveling east," a sheriff's statement said.

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle today in Temecula.
The crash was reported at 1:06 a.m. in the area of Temecula Parkway and Butterfield Stage Road, according to Tawny Cabral of the Riverside County Fire Department.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, Cabral said.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to the initial report of a traffic collision, however, additional details about the crash were not immediately available.
