Mayor Nancy Carroll and Pro-Tem Julio Martinez

We can not forget how Nancy Carroll and Julio Martinez came to be an elected official. Mark Orozco pleaded guilty to to bribery and running a PAC called Move Beaumont Forward. Carroll and Martinez were Orozco's two candidates supported through the PAC. The night when Orozco was shut down from becoming Mayor was indeed the beginning of Orozco's epic take down. You'd have to watch it for yourself.

One year later the candidates supported by Move Beaumont Forward PAC are now Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem. The dirty deals these council members come up with to mearly hold a ceremonial position is astonishing. The lengths of which some are willing to commit crimes. Beaumont citizens could careless who sits in the seat with the gavel in hand. They care about a government becoming transparent whithout any backroom deals being made. For now Beaumont citizens will have to wait for a rising of newly elected officials.
