Nancy Carroll FPPC Violations
Just two days after Carroll is appointed for Mayor she struck a settlement agreement with FPPC
Mayor Carroll was fined by the Fair Political Practice Commission just two days after Former Beaumont city officials came to a plea agreement on embezzlement and misuse of public funds.
Carroll failed to report over $4,000 on the committee financial statements on her to Elect Nancy Carroll Treasurer 2014, and Elect Nancy Carroll 2016 committees. It was a total of SIX violations.
Carroll acknowledged the violations and requested that the Fair Political Practices Commission resolve this matter. Carroll has paid $1,244 in fees and penalties in connection with the violations. Mark Orozco who supported Nancy Carroll through a PAC Move Beaumont Forward miss-report donations it had given too Carroll in the 2016 election. Orozco later pleaded down the violations for a guilty plea of felony bribery and perjury.
