Nancy Carroll FPPC Violations

Mayor Carroll was fined by the Fair Political Practice Commission just two days after Former Beaumont city officials came to a plea agreement on embezzlement and misuse of public funds.

Carroll failed to report over $4,000 on the committee financial statements on her to Elect Nancy Carroll Treasurer 2014, and Elect Nancy Carroll 2016 committees. It was a total of SIX violations.

Carroll acknowledged the violations and requested that the Fair Political Practices Commission resolve this matter. Carroll has paid $1,244 in fees and penalties in connection with the violations. Carroll was appointed Mayor just two days prior of the FPPC approving the streamline settlement. You can read the full Stipulation Decision and Order Here.

Mark Orozco who supported Nancy Carroll through a PAC Move Beaumont Forward miss-report donations it had given too Carroll in the 2016 election. Orozco later pleaded down the violations for a guilty plea of felony bribery and perjury.
