Under Armour Outlet Open in Cabazon

The newest store at Cabazon Outlets, Under Armour, opened to the public last week. 

A sports clothing and accessories company, Under Armour sells everything from footwear to high-tech athletic sportswear. It’s known for its special HeatGear and ColdGear undershirts, shorts, and tights. The company was founded in Maryland in 1996, and has merchandising deals with such athletes as Tom Brady, Miles Austin, Ray Lewis and Vernon Davis.

So far, customers are looking forward to getting deals on items that they are used to paying full price for. 

“It’ll be nice if we can get it for less money, because it’s expensive,” said Patty Robinson of Palm Desert. “My daughter plays soccer, and we buy it for her. My husband plays for fun, and he uses it as well.”

Rebecca Robinson is a fan of the brand, and finds she plays better when wearing it.

“It’s comfortable,” she said. “It can be hard to get on, but it keeps you warm when it’s cold. I always wear it during games.”

There are other Under Armour outlets in California, including locations in San Diego, Vacaville, Gilroy and Commerce. Other stores at Cabazon Outlets include Adidas, Oakley, and Le Creuset.
