Woman Dumps Little Dog In Trash Can, IE Deputy Makes Rescue
Marcella Grebus, 54, is accused of misdemeanor animal abuse.

YUCAIPA, CA — A woman accused of dumping a small dog in a Stater Bros. parking lot trash can and covering the animal in garbage has been identified.
A caller alerted the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department to Monday's incident in the 34000 block of Yucaipa Blvd. A deputy who took the 9:30 a.m. call was able to quickly rescue the little white dog from the container — the pooch appeared uninjured and was released to animal control, according to sheriff's officials.
Marcella Grebus, 54, was found nearby and is accused of misdemeanor animal abuse. She was arrested and booked at Central Detention Center, according to sheriff's officials.
