Body Of Long Beach Woman Found Dumped In Trash

A 24-year-old woman's body was discovered Friday night at a garbage dump facility in Wilmington.

 The body of a Long Beach woman was discovered among trash Friday night at a sorting station in Wilmington, authorities said Monday.

The Los Angeles County Coroner has identified the young woman as Latrecia Lavrea Hill, 24, of Long Beach. Pending the outcome of toxicology reports a cause of death was not immediately known, Lt. Joe Bale said.

Police were notified of the discovery in the 900 block of East E Street about
6:15 p.m. Friday, but it was not immediately clear where the body was picked
up. The facility is a dumping ground for garbage trucks from all around the region.
