Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your surf report. Well we're seeing more small size surf out there, but you can find a few fun ones, if you have a bigger board.
The conditions are fairly clean early on, with a combination of some minor west northwest swell, a little northwest energy and small dose of southwesterly swell in the mix. That recipe is offering some racy sectiony lines, with a few rippable shoulders. Most spots in Seal Beach are running about knee-to-thigh high, with the focal points pulling some waist-high plus waves.
Taking a look at those tides, at 10:50 later this morning it drops to a 1.1 low and then doesn't push back up to a 4.6 high until 3:34 early Saturday morning. So, basically many spots will be lacking water throughout the day.

If you're going to grab a session, throw on at least a 3/2 full-suit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
