Good Tuesday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Belmont Shore Patch surf report. Well, it looks like there's going to be a good little window at some point today. We're seeing more fun-size surf, but we're dealing with some extreme tides which will have things starting off slow early on.
The conditions are clean and glassy, with a combination of mainly west northwest swell and some minor leftover south southwest energy.
That recipe is offering some sectiony lines, with a few fast corners. Most breaks in Seal Beach are seeing knee-to-waist high waves, with the focal points pulling a few bigger ones.

At 7:27 this morning the tide climbs up to 6.5 high which will have some spots pretty swamped and slow early to mid morning. If you can, wait for that tide to turn around a little as it eventually drains out to a negative 1.3 low at 2:42 this afternoon.
If you're planning on paddling, throw on at least a 3/2 full-suit and possibly the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
