• Belvedere plans flood barriers for El Niño winter storms (pressdemocrat.com) — Belvedere officials are weighing temporary inflatable flood barriers along San Rafael Avenue and Beach Road to protect low-lying neighborhoods from expected El Niño-driven high tides and storm surge. City staff are refining barrier designs, expanding sandbag stations, coordinating with PG&E and other agencies, and finishing a raised pump station on Cove Road to better safeguard residents this winter.
   

• Belvedere resident sues Tiburon, police officers over alleged wrongful arrest, privacy violations (thearknewspaper.com) — A Belvedere resident has filed a civil lawsuit against the town of Tiburon and three police officers, alleging she was wrongfully arrested during a 2025 domestic-violence call and taken to jail without being allowed to dress. The suit, filed in Marin County Superior Court, claims her civil rights were violated, and comes after prosecutors declined to file criminal charges in the case.
