Driver Dies, 5 Children Rushed To Hospital In Highway 12 Rollover Crash
BREAKING: CHP Solano Area officials say a woman was fatally injured and five young children suffered major injuries in the rollover crash.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- UPDATED: A Stockton woman was killed and five young children suffered major injuries in a rollover crash Tuesday on state Highway 12 south of Suisun City, according to the California Highway Patrol and the Solano County coroner's office. Lydellaricia King, 28, of Stockton, was driving a 1999 Ford Taurus sedan westbound on SR-12, east of Nurse Slough Road, at about 5:30 p.m. when for "unknown reasons" the car left the roadway and went onto the dirt shoulder, where it rolled an undetermined number of times, authorities said.
The woman and five children ranging in age from 3 months to 8 years old were ejected from the vehicle, CHP Solano Area Spokesman David Harvey said.
King, who was identified as the victim by the coroner's office Wednesday afternoon, was rushed to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The children all suffered injuries described as "major" and were transported to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, authorities said.
