Expired Tags Leads To Arrest For Meth: Police

BENICIA, CA – A Vallejo man was arrested Tuesday after Benicia police pulled him over for having expired registration and then reportedly discovered drugs in the vehicle, authorities said.

During the stop on the 800 block of Southampton Road, the driver, Steven Silvera, 54, allegedly admitted possessing methamphetamine, the Benicia Police Department said, adding that officers found more than 90 grams of meth, packaging and a digital scale inside the vehicle.
