Morning Shooting Kills 1 In Vallejo

VALLEJO, CA -- One person died in a shooting in Vallejo this morning, a Vallejo Fire Department spokesman said.

Fire Engineer Anthony Shair-Ali said the incident was reported around 11:15 a.m. at Mark Avenue near Amelia Street. The person was deceased when firefighters arrived.

Vallejo police Sgt. Mike Nichelini confirmed the shooting fatality but provided no further details.
