Solano County To Receive 7,900 Doses Of Coronavirus Vaccine In First Allocation

The first allocation of 3900 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines is expected to arrive later this week. Please see additional information about the number of vaccine doses allocated for Solano County.

Earlier today, Solano Public Health and North Bay Healthcare hosted a virtual press conference (Facebook link here) to announce the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in Solano County. The speaker panel includes Dr. Bela Matyas, Health Officer, Ted Selby, Emergency Medical Services Administrator and Chairwoman Erin Hannigan, Solano County Board of Supervisors. The other two speakers, including Dr. Seth Kaufman, Chief Medical Officer and Bradley Boyd, Respiratory Care Practitioner represented North Bay Healthcare. The virtual press conference, moderated by Jayleen Richards, provided reporters with an overview of the COVID-19 vaccine, what to expect – including safety and efficacy, and its rollout in Solano County.
