Albany Pedestrian Stuck, Killed by Amtrak Train
The train was headed to Emeryville at the time of the crash.

An Amtrak train struck and killed a pedestrian in Albany Monday afternoon, Amtrak officials said. Capitol Corridor train 537 struck the pedestrian about a mile south of Richmond’s Central Avenue at 2:10 p.m., according to Amtrak. There were no injuries to the passengers and crew on board.
The train was delayed about two-and-a-half hours until it proceeded to Emeryville. Passengers on the train boarded other trains to get to their destination.
