Police: Shoplifter attacked Berkeley CVS clerk with bear spray (berkeleyside.org) — A CVS employee and a 76-year-old customer were treated by Berkeley Fire medics after a woman allegedly returned to the North Berkeley CVS on Shattuck Avenue and used bear spray, according to police. Staff had earlier asked her to leave over suspected shoplifting, and officers are still seeking the suspect as of Thursday.
3. Artist Interview: runaway poet (berkeley.edu) — Two Berkeley High sophomores, performing as runaway poet, just released their debut album "Girl in the Blue Dress" and joined KALX Berkeley for a live in-studio interview.
