Wear Your Face Covering for Meal Pickup

Everyone age 13 and over who comes to Meal Pickup must wear a Face Covering.

As explained in the April 22 Health Order issued by the City of Berkeley Public Health Officer Dr. Lisa Hernandez, we all need to protect each other so that infected people without symptoms don’t unintentionally spread COVID-19. There are only a few exceptions, as explained in the order.

  • Anyone who has trouble breathing, is incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove a face covering without assistance.
  • Anyone who has been advised by a medical professional not to wear a face covering.
  • Face coverings are optional for children 3-12 years old.
  • Children 2 years or younger should not wear masks, as they may create a risk of suffocation.
