Each 75-minute session features structured, high-repetition drills targeting groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, serves, and more, along with dynamic movement exercises and point-play situations. Coach Narguess provides light coaching, feedback, and encouragement throughout to help players refine their game.

Designed for early intermediate to advanced intermediate players, emphasizing refined technique, improved footwork, and point construction. Join us for a thought-provoking evening with&nbsp;Andy Naja-Riese, CEO of the Agricultural Institute of Marin (AIM); and Tamara Hicks, owner of Toluma Farms &amp; Tomales Farmstead Creamery and author of Feasts on the Farm. Andy and Tamara will unpacking the history of farming in the Bay Area and the new models shaping its future. From the rise of smaller, diversified vegetable farms to collaborative approaches like shared land, equipment, and labor, they’ll discuss how today’s farmers are reimagining sustainability—not just for the land, but for their own lives. The King of Navarre and his three friends have dedicated themselves to a life of study, and avoiding women for three long years. Their challenge comes to an end with the arrival of the Princess of France and her three girlfriends. The four young men fall in love and court the witty ladies amidst physical comedy, romance, and masked mistaken identities. Unexpectedly, the women must return to their kingdom for a year, after which they will marry the king and his friends, provided the men remain true to them.
Inferno Theatre is excited and honored to be the first company to perform Joshua Wilder’s modern translation of William Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost. The production is directed by award winning theater artist Giulio Cesare Perrone, who also designs this colorful production, bringing comedy and romance back to Berkeley. Love’s Labour’s Lost will delight with slapstick humor, music, songs and movement generated by the ensemble. Inferno Theatre is thrilled to partner once again with Play On Shakespeare to present Shakespeare's poetic world using a translation that makes it more accessible to modern audiences.

Eric Scot Tryon
San Francisco–based writer and editor Eric Scot Tryon makes his debut with I’m the Undertow&nbsp;(Central Avenue, May 2026), a haunting and tender novel exploring guilt, grief, and the unexpected relationships that form in the wake of loss. His short fiction has appeared in more than 50 literary journals, including Mid-American Review, Indiana Review, Ninth Letter, The Florida Review, Glimmer Train, and The Los Angeles Review. He is represented by Carleen Geisler of Britt Siess Creative Management and is the founding editor of the literary journal Flash Frog.

Portia Elan
Bay Area native Portia Elan brings a poet’s sensibility to her debut novel, Homebound, a sweeping and imaginative story that begins with a queer game designer in the 1980s and echoes into the 26th century—shaping the lives of a scientist, a sentient robot, and a desperate ship captain. A meditation on storytelling, identity, and belonging, the novel reflects Portia’s deep literary roots. She holds an MFA in Poetry from the University of Victoria, is a former Lambda Literary Fellow, and has worked as both a teacher and public librarian. She lives in the Bay Area with her wife and an abundance of cats.

Kate Crane
Writer and editor Kate Crane draws on her background in journalism and publishing for her debut, What Ever Happened to Eddy Crane?, an investigative memoir that blends personal narrative with rigorous reporting. When she was twelve, her father disappeared from his Baltimore trucking business and never returned—twenty years later, she set out to uncover the truth. Kate began her career with an NYC alt-weekly and later worked with&nbsp;Wall Street Journal publications. A Baltimore native and longtime New Yorker, she now lives in California.

"Da Tempeste" from Giulio Cesare, and "Waft Her, Angels" from Jeptha highlight Handel’s arias. Concerti Grossi, op. 6, no. 9 and no. 12, along with selections from the popular Water Music, round out the program. Under the music direction of Kati Kyme, longtime member of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Cantata Collective, and New Esterhazy Quartet, the chamber orchestra is an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.

Peace Practice is an invitation to slow down — a space to ground and reconnect with the body’s natural rhythms of rest, digestion, and repair. The practices are gentle and body-based, offering simple ways to support your nervous system, especially during times when life feels intense or overwhelming.
Our virtual time together centers on cultivating inner peace through nervous system regulation. When the body receives cues of safety, chronic stress responses can soften, allowing the mind, emotions, and physiology to work together rather than remaining in survival mode.
Each session includes a live, guided practice with gentle meditation, somatic and vagus nerve exercises, grounding, and quiet reflection.
Peace Practice is offered once a month and will always remain free, because access to nervous system support should be available to everyone.
