A Day of Remembance at St. Paul's Oakland

  • 9/11/11 A Day of Remembrance

Fauré's Requeim Mass

For those of us living in the northeastern US, September 11, 2001 started as a sunny fall day full of promise, but ended as one that will forever be etched in our hearts and minds.  In remembrance of those who died and to pray for those who continue living with the personal consequences of the terror attacks, we will have a special Requiem Mass.  The Very Rev. Mark Richardson, dean and president of the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, will be the homilist and St. Paul's Choir will sing Fauré's Requiem, accompanied by members of Prometheus Symphony Orchestra.
