The Pacific Collegium, in association with MusicSources, presents Johann Sebastian Bach’s B Minor Mass in a free September Concert to commemorate the tenth anniversary of 9/11.
Artistic director Christopher Kula conducts Chapel College Men and Boys Ensemble, along with soloists Tonia d'Amelio, Clifton Massey, Brian Thorsett, and Nikolas Nackley, and a period-instruments orchestra led by concertmaster Elizabeth Blumenstock. The au...dience at this concert will be invited to join the performers to sing the final “Dona nobis pacem” (“Grant us peace”) of the Mass, in keeping with the mission of The September Concert.
