Mercy Retirement & Care Center invites you and your pet to join in the tradition of The Blessing of Animals in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures.
On Tuesday, October 4th, please join us in the courtyard at Mercy Retirement with your furry, scaly, or feathered friend to participate in the pet procession and receive a blessing. If your pet doesn’t like crowds or is ill, you may bring a picture to be blessed.
Fr. William Brand, OFM, will offer the blessing and gently sprinkle your pets with holy water.

Please bring a donation of pet food, treats, or pet toys for the SPCA.
