Empty Bowls is an international initative to help end hunger. Potters and craftspeople create handcrafted bowls. Guests partake of a simple meal of soup and bread while listening to live music. If they like, they can raise even more money by buying the beautiful bowls.
All proceeds benefit the Alameda County Food Bank, which feeds hundreds of thousands of seniors, jobless, low-income families and more every year.
