'Freedom': Screening and Filmmaker Q&A

Freedom is by Jock and Rebecca Tickell, makers of the Sundance Award-winning film Fuel and authors of the Ecology Center’s bestselling DIY book on biodiesel From the Fryer to the Fuel Tank.

In the aftermath of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the Tickells took an international journey to investigate alternatives to fossil fuels. We learn about the sustainable technologies that could fulfill our transportation needs. The film invites people to not just get mad, but get motivated.

This film is being supported by a three-month North American Clean Energy Tour featuring the FREEDOM bus. With 18 solar panels, an E85 bio-fuel engine and power generator, energy efficiency, wind, solar and water displays, touch screens, eco-building materials, on demand green energy videos, a projection system for outdoor viewing and presentations and a PA system for press conferences, the FREEDOM bus is a rolling clean energy laboratory and green mobile entertainment system
