Vajda says:
We'll be pruning some fruit trees, remove an encroaching Fo Ti Vine.(A Chinese medicinal. See note below)
I think we will get to harvest a bit, whatever is ripe, and weed some too.
If you have pruners, loppers, pole pruners/saws, or self-standing ladders, please bring them along.
And pot luck food (Some might want to snack early) and musical instruments.I will happily provide some beverages.
The facilities at Test Ride Farms include a kitchen with two burner stove, a BBQ pit, a hot water sink, and a bar. There are strawbales, a futon swing, and chairs for lounging if you don't feel up to the ladder work.
If you are interested in attending the Hoes Down Yoga Session with Iyengar Specialist, Bridget Frederick, please contact her directly for enrollment, as space is sometimes limited on the re-purposed redwood roof deck. The session is held at a donation-based minimum of $10 for her professional and caring lead. She can be reached at bridget.frederick@gmail.com.
Test Ride Farms is an interdisciplinary experiment into what happens when one opens the gate and welcomes whoever shows up.
