Kensington Celebration of All Creatures Great and Small

Celebrate All Creatures Great and Small at the Kensington Community Center, 59 Arlington Ave, Kensington.  Rev. Dr. Tony Clark, D.V.M., M.Div., Sr. Pastor of the Arlington Community Church will offer a special BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS so be sure to bring them! The El Cerrito K-9 unit will demonstrate the use of dogs in crime suppression. Rune' and Renee Hoyer-Nielson will demonstrate fostering and training guide and service puppies.  Graham Quigly will demonstrate methods to maintain the quality of life of your pets through accupressure and communication.  Rescue organizations such as, Rabbit Ears, Milo Foundation, Friends of Greyhounds, Yggdrasil Wildlife Rescue, Mickaboo Bird Foundation, White Kitty and many more will have animals for adoption needing your love and care.  Contra Costa Animal Care and Control will provide LOW COST SHOTS AND MICROCHIPPING as well as  information on disaster preparedness for pets and important ways to care for your pet's health.  Local businesses will have specialty items and local artists will have samples of photographs and pet portraits you can commission of your loved ones.  Reasonably priced food will be offered by The Arlington Cafe, Sugar Cone and Japanese Food by Wagaya.  Call the church office for information at 510 526-9146.
