Trina Robbins

Please join us for an evening with Trina Robbins as she reintroduces audiences with the first female-drawn and written comics superheroine, Miss Fury!

The Eisner- and Harvey- nominated writer and herstorian will sign copies of her book Miss Fury and present a slideshow on the life and history of Tarpé Mills, the 1940s writer and artist.

Robbins herself is an immensely important and influential writer and artist in the comics world, contributing as a cartoonist to '70s San Francisco undergrounds like Wimmen’s Comix. As a writer, her work stretches from mainstream titles like Xena and Wonder Woman to all-ages collections like Chicagoland Detective Agency and editorial work including Fantagraphics' beautiful Brinkley Girls collection.
