Fire Damages Apartment Building By Beverly Hills High
Firefighters are advising people to avoid the area near Beverly Hills High School where a fire has damaged an apartment building.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A fire damaged a condo building in Beverly Hills where a dog was killed in the blaze friday morning. The fire was near Beverly Hills High school Friday shortly after the morning bell.
Firefighters sent to the 200 block of Lasky Drive at 7:54 a.m. extinguished the flames in about a half hour, said Battalion Chief Dave Perusse of the Beverly Hills Fire Department.
No one was hurt, but a dog died in a third-floor unit that was damaged by fire, Perusse said. The cause of the fire was under investigation. A hazardous materials team was sent to

Firefighters from the Los Angeles city and county fire departments assisted Beverly hills personnel in battling the flames.
