Officers say the case shows they will aggressively pursue reckless drivers to protect residents and property throughout Beverly Hills.

• Crypto Entrepreneur Sentenced to Prison for Fraud, Tax Crimes (mynewsla.com) — A 26-year-old crypto entrepreneur who once lived in Beverly Hills has been sentenced in Los Angeles to more than six years in federal prison for conspiracy, wire fraud, and tax evasion tied to a scheme using off-duty deputies as enforcers. Prosecutors say he and a former sheriff's detective abused law enforcement powers for extortion, intimidation, and illegal searches.
