Moonlight Over The Delta: Photo Of The Day

DISCOVERY BAY, CA — Today's photo of the day comes from Kathy Flemmer, who captured the moon over the delta in Discovery Bay this past weekend.

"When I looked out my window at 5 a.m., this was what I saw," Kathy told Patch. Mt. Diablo can be seen in the background as twilight twinkles over the delta.

Thanks for sharing, Kathy!

If you have an awesome photo of nature, breathtaking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny, or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we'd love to feature it on Patch.

We're looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty and fun that is Northern California, and that show off your unique talents. Cell phone images are fine.
