• Local Leaders Celebrate Landmark New Brisbane Community Pool Electric Heating System (cal-cca.org) — Brisbane’s community pool has switched from an old gas boiler to new high‑efficiency electric heat pumps, cutting emissions and saving an estimated $15,000 a year. Funded by Peninsula Clean Energy, San Mateo County Measure K grants, and other partners, the project is the first of its kind in California and marks a major step in Brisbane’s push to electrify public facilities.
